I am an international student from Nigeria. Through my travels and living in numerous countries I came to the conclusion that engineering is a practical way to improve the world around us. I've been interested in science since high school, that's why I settled on Chemical engineering, however that may change. Civil engineering is a possibility I am considering and that is why I choose to study Structure Failures for this course.

I am a Civil Engineering major at Drexel University and I am from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. I decided to be a Civil Engineer because I have always be interested in structures and how they are are constructed. This major of study seemed to me to be the best way to involve myself in work that involves this interest of mine. Maintenance and creation of infrastructure is a job that I believe will never go away because of the importance it has on everyday life, and the reliance people have on infrastructure to be able to live their everyday lives.
