Project Overview

This project is designed to look at structural failures and make a note of why they happened. This project will be a twenty-page report that looks at three different failures. The three failures that will be studied are the Quebec Bridge, the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and the Silver Bridge. These failures will be looked at in depth to discover what was overlooked during the making of these structures. The objectives for learning will be to gain a better understanding of why these structures actually failed in order learn what mistakes to avoid. This blog is purposed to keep track of our weekly progress as well as other information that is tied into this project. The research was divided in a way where each member was assigned one bridge and the last member was assigned to manage the blog as well as review the research when the final draft is composed.
